Resist. You will not regret it. Juarez is the hellhole supreme of North America. This is the worst. Period. Grinding abject poverty. The most famous thing Juarez is known for is its incredible list of murdered young

Women. They turn up about two a day for the past several years. The drug

Cartels own the town. There is no reason for any human soul to be here if

They don’t need to. Avoid.

(Note: If you have been following Goliathandwimmens, you know the aversion to Juarez already. Since I wrote this, Juarez has only gotten worse! And when you think how bad that

is, just consider Naples, which I listed at number 2 to get an idea how bad I hate Naples.)

Alternative: Original Hilton Hotel in El Paso. That’s right, the original, I.e., the first Hilton Hotel was right there on the square in El Paso

Texas. When I visited a couple of decades ago it was pretty careworn. However the diner, which looked out on the main square, was awesome and

Served an awesome huevos rancheros. Spend your day hanging on the

Square and taking it easy in the diner. You aren’t missing anything across

That river and as an added bonus you probably won’t be shot or stabbed.
