They are the moderators and how they run it I'm totally cool with it. Even though I have had words with the Prof. I have the utmost respect for him and he is very intelligent and GG is tops in my book.
They do a great job handling it and keeping it professionally well done...

One thing I’ve learned from this comment exchange so far…never send a private message to Brian.
I don't know about HT, but I've had my share of warnings on the CCC, and, as he said about his, I always felt I deserved them, as I was well aware of the CCC posting policies. I didn't complain about it, but took it to be what I deserved, since I knowingly and willingly broke the clearly stated rules.
As new, unforeseen situations come up, any moderator of a blog or forum will have to consider new methods/rules to deal with them. People aren't always perfect in their judgment and can only do what they think is best at the time.
Liberal Hussy sure is one pretty lady.
I will agree with you on that, she is lovely, and bright.
GG is not fair, in my opinion. I have had occasion to hear from her in the past, and find her to be a bit on the grumpy side :) :) CCC is biased, claims to be a forum serving the community (BS) but it is not. I read it. Why you may ask, because every time I do, it reinforces my opinion that most of those who post on CCC are a bit dull. I do not mean boring. I think that there are some who post on CCC, who should not. It does not do a thing for their credibility. If you want to be viewed as a public figure who reaches out to the community to communicate and answer questions find a different way to do it. Like Goliathandwimmens.
Everyone is free to post almost anything other than obscenities, slander, slanderous allegations, links to blogs the "Terms of Use" are pretty clear.
If you bad mouth the moderators on your or other blogs, reproduce "personal" messages, use multiple screen names, look for and reveal identities, make nasty and obscene comments about members, their personal lives, and their appearance. You leave them no other choice, than to ban you.... And why would anyone think any different ???
However this is not merely 'badmouthing'. These are comments reflecting that people feel they are treated unfairly on the CCC. In fact, they are and it's not hard to see.
I have heard many times that there is a rule against personal attacks, yet personal attacks on people not in favor with the mods such as Matt Chinn are apparently ignored. If it were an isolated instance you could accept the claims "we can't watch it all the time" and I would believe that as I know that task very well. But, instead what I see on a more routine basis is that anti Tom Galligan posters are allowed freedom and Pro Tom Galligan people are warned or deleted etc.,
I could be wrong but this is how it seems to me. I also find the rules
(like all rules) used for selective
enforcement. For instance, the Post by Pesty V2 did not post a link
to any blog. It did comment on the fact that Matt's post was positive and asked why it was taken down.
For that...the post was deleted
with the warning "do not question
the mods in public".

moderator. Perhaps it is but in my view it's deserved.

You're right about the political leanings being an influencing factor into some of the calls made as far as deleting posts. NSBHM pretty much has a free reign and to the point of being "over the top" a lot of the time.
On the same behalf your forum could be said to heavily lean to the anti- Moore side, but I will give you credit,, I'm not aware of any bias in your moderation but you do have a version of NSBHM on your forum as well.
As far as YMC he has a youthful brashness (that I like) that probably rubs older members and moderators the wrong way at times.
My references were mainly about being banned by the CCC not the moderation. I would suggest you contact GG or the Prof. I'm sure they will answer you honestly...
I have been corresponding with three moderators at CCC and expressing my views.
I have no desire to return to old fights and try and refight them.
Let us consider what the next Survivor Quest Challenge may be ...and who will be the next person to leave the game.
Only one thing is certain. It will not be Square Peg.
The only thing I'm going to say about the CCC, is, they are a little too much like a clique. I've always been one to choose friends outside the circle so I guess that is why I don't participate on that forum.
Anyways, I do love reading this one!!

For a short amount of time last spring I was an administrator of the CCC facebook page. Apparently they never removed me as an administrator of that site. If you are an admin on that page you can not post comments as an individual. I only figured that out when I tried to post as myself.
During the first challenge I picked up several viruses on my old computer. Even after cleaning up my computer I spent 2 weeks experiencing computer freeze. The owners of CCC probably never realized that I made a post about the first challenge because since I asked to be taken off the CCC staff months ago there are rarely any updates being done there.
Now that I have my new computer set up and can actually navigate facebook again I will remove the post myself. I wasn't trying to start any sh*t. I was just having fun with the first challenge. Between picking up viruses that trashed my old computer and complaints about my post, the first challenge doesn't seem so fun to me anymore. :(
I was not complaining about your post, I was asking if someone had posted about GAW survivor game on CCC and wondered if it got deleted too.
Sounds like you got a computer up and running.
That is good. Its one thing when we choose not to use our computer, but its quite different when the computer chooses not to cooperate, frustrating.
