The Shining

Goliath had the most terrible of weeks.  First all know very well of Goliath's sad and even tragic defeat on his own poll.  Many were the laughs at Mick's lounge at Goliath's expense. Even the Sprout was dissappointed and reduced to claims that HT was cheating etc. which...even Goliath admit probly not true. All fair and square even though Goliath not pretend to know how this was achieved.

So then Goliath depart for other climes, as the weather way too hot in Jeffersonville and jagermeister makes very bad sweats.
Goliath go to big fancey hotel in Colorado. This hotel so very remote and difficult to get to. But guess what?  IT turns out this movie star hotel  as it was the hotel featured in big movie "The SHining."

Goliath begin to laugh this off until two things happen. First...it turns out Goliath's hotel room has a haunted radio alarm clock that cannot be turned off and cannot be stopped. Spooky radio voices in the middle of the night almost scared Goliath into a fan tod.

Then, just as in the movie when Jack Nicholson gets locked into a meat freezer....Goliath gets locked in his bathroom!!
This was so very very alarming.   Goliath had to subsist on a ration of  protein bars and all the tap water he could drink for a full forty five minutes until housekeeping come in and show how to undo this thing on the bathroom called so very cleverly a 'lock'.

By now, Goliath starting to hear voices and cannot distinguish between real and unreal. SO he breaks down and goes to the bar of the hotel.  The bartender's name was Lloyd.  He looked like a bat. He had bat eyes. He had bat hair and finally
Goliath realize it is a spit image of HT.  All Goliaths fails and weakenings is catching up with him.  He cannot barely stand it. So he eats some peanuts.  Then a drink is spilled on Goliath and Graves takes Goliath to the bathroom to clean up.
Now Goliath getting really puzzled.  This is all so very much like the film.

So, Goliath decided to go to bed and check out of the hotel the very next morning.

Haunted radio was the worst! Voices chattering about the economic impact of raising the debt ceiling...scary!
