Sprout at Tomb of Voodoo Queen Marie Leveau

Sprout powers overcame Voodoo temptations and lures.  No Vampires either.

Here is a painting of  Marie Laveau  and here is  link to the fascinating
Wikipedia article on her. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie_Laveau

Very cool. I like New Orleans and love the grave yards down there. You do know the story of how they fit so many people in the small tombs right?

The story we were told is that the heat and humidity 'vaporizes' the corpse. Don't know if that's it or they all turn into vampires. Which seemed like an equally likely possibility.

Partially correct, a body will completely decompose in one year leaving only the skeleton. The skeleton is placed in a body bag and stacked with all the others in a small compartment below the tomb. This allows the next casket to be placed in the tomb when the time comes. If someone died and there was not room in the family tomb due to others still in the first year, the funeral folks can arrange for a "rental" tomb for the casket to be placed until the family tomb opens up.
