Camp Town Ladies

Goliath is very disserpointed with the dad blas t  comments on his Butler post.  Those  what has done posted various sixties and seventies classic hippies songs is really grinding the ole gloating heel into Goliath's broken Heart.

This here is a tupical tactic of losers and mooncalfs like NSShbm. And hhis ILK! Shame will come upon thee!

Meanwhile Goliath can'tget his mojo working. What's that about? All in all very dismal type two or three days!

Good luck to all.  Curses upon whoever posted 'ventura highway' as a comment to Goliath's broken heart.

"Curses upon whoever posted 'ventura highway' as a comment to Goliath's broken heart."

......"I've through the desert on a horse with no name"....

Now, as to getting the Big G back into the game, research the "Separation of Powers Doctrine thing", perhaps by pulling out Judge Klepfer's ruling as starting point.

The famous Goliath sense of fair play needs to be well honed.
This abuse shall not stand !

Goliath, I was wondering how professed Libertarians or Republicans feel about the "double dipping thing".

$$$$ from city job #1.
$$$$ from city job #2.

Many Democrats are also against this abusive practice.

The Constitution is sacred.

You know the First District Republican candidate, KC, likes to write and pontificate about such things.
If one of your readers would ask her to post her opinion on her website about
"a person drawing two salaries and exercising authority in two branches of the same unit of government simultaneously", it would aid in the much sought after "transparency" thing.

She should certainly be most outraged about that, wouldn't she?

Is PC meeting with MM at the restaurant on 10th Street?

Where is the infamous
"paparazzi stalker"
NSBHM when you need him?

Transparency?

I have it on good authority KC does not approve of double-dipping and believes it compromises the independence and integrity of said double dippers.
She would have no problem supporting or proposing an ordinance banning the practice, and she believes some other potential incoming council members such as Pat Barrow, Lisa Gill and Matt Owen would also support such a measure.

Kathy, Pat, lisa, and Matt:

Most excellent!
You are very Couragious!

Please contact our state reps and senators and keep this bill moving.
HB 1022

Rep. Stemler, Rep. Clere, Sen. Grooms, and Sen. Smith.
Also contacting the House and Senate leadership would help.

It is still possible, but a long shot, to begin the impact of the bill this year.
It is essential that it passes even with the built in delay.

The "DOUBLE DIPPING" from the
SAME UNIT OF GOVERNMENT
will be one of the hotest issues of this election!
It is corruption.

The Giant's News Bureau (GNB) has a GCF update form the Indiana General Assembly
as of today( 4-7-11) at 2:23 PM, the latest on HB 1022.

Breaking news from GAW!
GAW is first with the news!
The "Big Media" boys are just too slow!

House Bill 1022
2011 1st Regular Session

Latest Information

HB1022: Officeholder qualifications, nepotism, and public contracts
DIGEST OF HB 1022 (Updated April 7, 2011 2:23 pm - DI 106)
The bill has been amended and is still moving.
I spoke with Representative Steve Stemler today.

Steve was unable to prevent the amendment in committee and does not agree with the primary amendment.
However, he still feels that bill will pass and become law.

There are 100 State Reps and 50 State Senators in Indiana and the legislative process involves a lot of people and interests.

He has introduced and sponsored a very good bill that addresses the issue and solves the problem, but there are
"self-centered "interests that don't want to see the implementation of the legislation at all.

Rep Steve Stemler is working hard for us and protecting the taxpayers.
Steve feels that the practice of "double-dipping" from the same unit of government is wrong.

It is corruption and Steve says the bill will pass, just the implementation will be delayed.
The persons gaining office in this "election cycle" would be able to serve for four years if elected.

Primarily, that means that the bill will begin to eliminate "double dipping"
by persons drawing TWO salaries from the same unit of government simultaneously,
but it's full implementation won't take effect for four years.
