Big G, I came looking for Derby Day tips (since you were so successful last year, lol)and found my favorite long shot, Matt Owen, featured instead. He turned out to be the big winner in his maiden race. The payoff? Inspiring young adults to get involved in local government. Priceless!
Judging by the low voter turnout by more seasoned voters, getting the younger generation involved could turn out to be a win-win for Matt and Jeffersonville. It seems we have hit rock bottom in terms of interest and involvement in this city. Kid With Game could help change that.

I still can't believe he had as many votes as he did. Matt Owen is bringing that Fresh Look for Jeffersonville that we so surely need and I am excited for it!!
