Saturday: A break for SurvivorQuest

Well well....it is Saturday and we have a break from Survivorquest challenge.  The final leg in the Stockmarket challenge won't be until
Tuesday.  Tuesday night we will have a winner.  The losing team
will have to convene and vote off one of their members.  The winning
team will have to vote to offer immunity to a member of the losing team.

Right now only one player has immunity...SQUARE PEG.   That must be
a nice feeling.

Enjoy your labor day weekend.   AN and Choppergal have talked about a proposed challenge involving a 'bake sale'  However, if this is a serious proposal....Goliath don't know all the terms.  You  need to tell me what it is.  Other than..."bake sale" which  I get. But where when  how long and what to do with the $?

Well...we could all bake our favorite dessert..we drop a sample off at your office and only leave an ID number representing that dessert. When they have all been sampled by you and your co-workers...you all decide the winner by announcing the ID number. What do you think???

p.s. - We do include with the ID number whether we are Team Awesome or Team Cool..that way a winning team can be announced and also each team will have an individual winner. :)

Wow! Goliath not sure but guesses
very very well that fellow drudges at the Goliath compound would love this
idea!

I am a pretty good cook but I have never really tried much baking. Also I am afraid that my diet does not allow for baked goods. I may be at a severe disadvantage in this kind of challenge.

We already know that YMC would bake a H.A.M. for this challenge.

Brian, there are many sugar free desserts that are delicious. Since our little boy is Type 1 Diabetic we have found so many things to bake that are awesome!! Congrats with your weightloss, I personally know what you are going through!!

Liberal Hussy sure couldn't bake anything.

Hehehe.

I can bake, I can really bake, but I don't want to be dropping stuff off at your office, after all, this is anonymous, right?

Then have a friend run it in. What is everyone so worried about? My philosophy is don't post anything unless you would be willing to say it to someone's face. Work's for me. It is not like we all haven't guessed who you are SquarePeg? lol

Yes. We respect anonymity.
No compromises on that.
Square Peg's anonymity won't be
lost here. And Lisa, guess away but
don't breach here please.
I have kept comments unfiltered.
but you would ruin that and the whole game.
Thanks, Goliath.

Lisa, I respect you and hope you will do the same for me. I'm having fun, how about you?
Lisa Smith said…
I am having fun and I said I knew who you were, I at no time said I would reveal it? I don't mind having my hand slapped but at least wait until I deserve it. geesh. SP, I think it would be up to the individual whether or not they wanted to participate in this challenge. You have immunity anywho right.
SquarePeg said…
I have immunity only for this challenge. And you don't know me. Want to?
SquarePeg said…
And I forgot to add, I rawlly don't know you, just by reputation only.
SquarePeg said…
Oops, really don't know you, just by reputation only...Same damn dictionary devil got me!

I think I have some good challenges coming up that won't have a bias for men if that's the feeling...although dad blast it .... the next one may in fact be that way. Depends.

It is something Tammar El excells at! But BELIEVE me...I got some coming that are non gender biased.

I did not think Face book or Stockmarket were gender biased though.

SP, if you believe I don't know you, then what are you worried about? Honestly, I really don't want to know you, you are associated with someone that has made it her life's goal to harrass me. But good luck to you anyway and may the best team win. :)
SquarePeg said…
Whatever. Big G, Facebook and the stockmarket are not gender biased. My family and I keep in touch with one, and my retirement keeps me ticking with the other!

I am just excited because 'bake sale' was the FIRST proposal I received.
I have to come up with ten more challenges
Lisa Smith said…
That's exactly what my 9 year old says. It's all good.

Scavenger hunt. Good times.
Goliath said…
Scavenger Hunt? That could be GOOD.

I know where the big statue of Thomas Jefferson is so I am good with a scavanger hunt.

I thought of a great contest. Unfortunately it is way to long to do here, but the timing could not have been better had we all been so inclined. My idea came from the pre-release of P90X2. I thought we could all do it and see which one of us got to be the buffest. Unfortunately the 90 in P90X stands for 90 days so it would be way too long. Having said all of that I am afraid Goliath may want to go ahead and order himself a copy if we have a bake sale because he will need it after eating all thise cookies and cupcakes.

I don't feel the first 2 challenges were "biased". I was only joking about the bake-off giving us ladies a better chance. And, oops, I guess I did manage to say bake-sale instead of bake-off. Just another typo.
